So much for Jet Lag...Slept 6 hours and now at 1am WIDE AWAKE...lol

Hence, why we are both sitting in our beds, netbooks in lap, posting on our blogs, checking emails and looking up ideas of things to do tomorrow in Paris.  You on the other hand are enjoying a nice Saturday afternoon (in the sun?), looking forward to a fun evening and Easter Sunday tomorrow.  Here it IS Easter.  I'm sure it will be a busy day here with tons of people in the city for the holiday.  Please keep us in your prayers as we will be traveling via train on a very holy holiday this evening.  We have decided to get up early, go back to the Eiffel Tower and wait in line to go up and see the view of this lovely city before checking out at 12 noon.  We've heard it's about a 2 hour experience on a normal day and tomorrow is a holiday.  Can't believe we are wide awake at 1am...I wanted to take Deeanna's picture of her with lap top inbed but with no make up she veto'd it adamently...you know how us women are.  LOL  Here are a few more fun pictures of the MANY I've taken.  SO nice to have digital.  And yes mother...I'm only keeping 1 picture of most items (except the big ones).
.
Bikes everywhere - wondering if they are "for rent' as they all look the same

Close to the Eiffel Tower is this beautiful hotel.  I love all the rod iron doors and balcony's.  And a lot of the doors are really tall.
What I love the most is the way they display their vegatables outside their shops and all the food in the windows (I do wonder how long it's been sitting out).  Take a look for yourself:

Lots of breads, rolls and desserts
We bought the Eclairs in the above photo for $2.20 euro's, about $3.00 us and they were delicious.  I thought I'd bought a maple one but it was maple on top and 'cafe' (coffee) on the inside.
They have all types of food here as you can see by the Chinese food displayed above Rt.
And what better to go with all that bread than cheeses.  Of course you have to get beyond the musty smell the cheese give off when all together in one small enclosed area.
So what does all this mean...should have bought more euros.  lol  The one cent piece is the size of my pinky.  See bottom right side of picture.  And yes, those are 2 dollar coins (much smaller than our $1.00 coins (that I hardly ever see anymore...who's great idea was that anyway?  Ten dollars weights down your pocket and won't fit in any change purse I've seen.)  Dinner here came in at round 16 euro's, about $23 with a glass of red wine (Deeanna had white)

Well, time to try and get some more sleep - big day tomorrow.  Thanks for joining me in my travels of Paris, France.  (PS people so far seem friendly but don't "like" to practice their English)
