One week from TODAY I will be in Paris, France

I FINALLY booked my finally two places to stay in Sicily.  Now I can relax a little bit. 

I settled on Cefalu Sicily and can take the train a short distance to Termini Imerese to hunt down living relatives and the tombstone I have a picture of.  I will be staying at the Casanova B&B.  You can read about it here: www.bbplanet.com/bed-and-breakfast-casanova-cefalu_s7490/en 

So here is where I'll be staying.  Still working on Termini Imerese...luxery hotel or B&B?  LOL  What can I afford at this point in the trip.  Will I need a "calm down" place to stay that's really nice to just veg?

Will spend one night in Catania before hitting airport next morning.  Still need to book that one too.  Air transport and trains are all booked.  Let's hope that trains are running on-time or I may have some issues.  lol  *smile*

Family Genealogy

So hunting on-line for living relatives in Termini Imerese Sicily, Italy is not easy.  I've spent hours trying to track someone down and updating family trees to see if someone contacts me.  This may have to take place once there.

I have this much:

Lorenzo Comella born 1857 in Termini Imerese Palermo, Sicily, Italy married
Madeline Rinella in same city and produced a son: Frank Comella born in 1874 in Termini Imerese.
Frank married Agostina Gatto who was born August 10, 1884 in Termini Imerese.  They had a daughter Mary Comella who was born July 5, 1913 (I was born the same day!)  Frank and Agostina moved to USA and Frank died at age 90 (est) in WA and Agostina died at age 29 in Portland, OR.  Not a whole lot to go on....but all I have.  Well, not all...I have a few pictures of a tombstone in Termini Imerese and a picture of their farm there too.  And so...the HUNT IS ON!
